frozen vegetables

Question

Can frozen vegetables that are not packaged in America be used for Passover? ( like Jew's mallow, which in Arabic is called "Melechiye") The kosher Syrian stores in Brooklyn sell them all year long but not for Passover since they are packaged in the Arab countries. Can they be used for Passover as well?
