Question

I read your repsonse on bugs, and find that it is contrary to the explanation in the Kosher Kithchen Vol. 2. In the Kosher Kitchen, which I beleive is excessively strict in some areas, they say that only those bugs seen by the naked eye are forbidden, that it is only necessary to carefully check and clean the produce, and they do not prohibit any produce. Can you please reconcile their and your ruling. Indeed, I do not beleive that traditionally orthodox Jews, ashkenazim or otherwise, apply the rule you expound. I remain, respectfully yours.
