frying vs. bread

Question

i saw on a teudah in a krispy kreme that the din of pat akum doesn't apply, because they are fried, also the din of bishul akum doesn't apply becuase it wouldn't be served on a king's table. Are these correct, because I thought I saw the Rabbi say that it's still considered to be bread even if fried, also when does it go from bread to be considered fried? Thanks
