why is Rav Abadi's opinion regarding gelatin different from that of his teacher, R. Aaron Kotler?

Answered by Aaron AbadiRav Aaron & Rav Moshe and any of the others that might have not been convinced or confident enough to agree with Rav Chaim Ozer that gelatin is OK, was referring to the gelatin of yesteryear. We researched this thoroughly. Today's gelatin is processed in a way that it is completely inedible. It is only then put into food to provide texture. Even Moshe Rabbeinu would go along with this one. AA
