Gevinat Akum

Question

1. Would it help take away the problem of Gevinat Akum if the akum soft cheese company [Temp Tee] had a jew [mashgiach] involved someway in the cheese making process (Similar to Bishul Akum where applicable)? 2. You wrote in an earlier post (4/19/2003) "Our info from a reliable source in the OU is that the Hard Cheeses under their supervision is Gevinat Yisrael." What do they do special to make it Gevinat Yisroel - Why don't they just do the same thing for soft cheese? Thanks much
