ghiradelli brownie mix

Question

one of the last ingredients is "Natural and artificial flavors (contains butter)" the contains butter for some reason is in bold on the packaging. I called ghiradelli (800) 426-0955 and they said it is not really butter but natural butter flavor BUT that is does contain dairy in the butter flavor. She did not know to explain more than that. (by the way there is a kaf-k Dairy symbol on it) Is it dairy?
