GLYCERIN

Question

Dear Rabbi Abbadi, I'm new to your website so alot of what you say seems pretty radical, being as your opinions seem diametrically opposed to mainstream kashrus orgs. I don't claim to be an expert in kashrus, but i do know something and work for one of the national kashruth org. in the veg. oil and oleochemical industry. My question involves your opinion on glycerin. Glycerin is a part of fats which are also made of fatty-alcohols and fatty-acids such as stearic acid, lauric acid and many others. Fats can be either from vegetables or from animals. Once the fats are devided up the animal and veg glycerin are indistinguishable one from the other. I saw in one of your posts that any glycerin is kosher because you can,t drink it. Why would animal fats glycerin be kosher because it can,t be drunk? Would this also apply to fatty acids like stearic acid? Would we say this regarding non-kosher animal fats which cannot be drunk? Or,can I put melted butter on my meat because I can,t drink it?
