Grandmother's China

Question

One of the most common shaila's is the question of inheriting china from a non-frum relative. Assuming that there is no real financial value and that the dishes (earthenware) have not been used for at least a year (if not 10 or 20 years) would you rely upon the Chakham Tzvi (Siman 75) and matir all the dishes baed on ta'am lifgam? What if you were dealing with a couple who is not yey frum who just inherited these dishes - would you be mekil in that situation? thank you for our time. Jeff
