grape flavoring
Question
Rabbi, I understand that grape juice is batel in six, not in sixty. However, is it permissible to "lechatehila" put yayin nesech into a mixture that has more than 5/6 halakim yayin nesech, and then eat it - or is it only bediavad? If only bediavad, would this effect grape flavored candies, etc? thank you.

Answered by Aaron AbadiIf you are asking if the grape flavoring is OK, the answer is Yes, as I said in the previous post. If you are asking about Ein Mevatlim Issur Lechatchilah, this certainly does not fall under that category. Look into the Halachot on this topic & you'll see for yourself. AA
