grape juice
Question
Dear Rabbi, Of all the ideas on your fabulous website the most novel and startling, was that unsupervised grape juice, a Rabbinic Gezerer, could be kosher. I took the liberty to check with Welchs, and they kindly sent me a full description of the process, and clearly, there is not a chance that a gentile can touch the product between juicing and pasteurising( or at any time for that matter, including harvesting and shipping). My question to you is, when did you discover this? Your earlier postings do not assume this fact. Welchs have probably been doing this for years, and how are you certain that all others use the same process? There are a lot of dropped jaws in my community!!!!!!!!! Once again, Thank you, Martin
