Gum on pesach

Question

Does gum have to be kosher for pesach- I see on the pesach list it says wrigleys for sefardim- but what is in gum that would be a problem for Ashkenazim- also is this only wrigelys or all gum Thanks

It's fine for Ashkenazim, too. Some things labeled "Sephardim," were done that way because of our limited time to look into things. We saw it was OK for Sephardim & left it at that. But you are right. AA
