Question

Why do you say not to lather your hair with shampoo on Shabbat or Yom Tov? In your father's sefer he shows that hair does not fall under the prohibition of sechitah.

He now permits it! You can shampoo your hair and lather away on Shabbat & Yom Tov. There is a Machloket on the issue of Sechita on hair. This decision to be Matir is very new. AA
