hair covering when making a bracha

Question

Are there any sources that a married woman has to cover her hair when making a bracha in her own home when alone? My husband is under the impression that I need to, however neither of us has seen a source for this, please clarify. Where we live there is no set minhag hamakom b/c there is a large range of types of fully observant ppl in the area and many poskim. Thanks!
