Question

I have a very simple halachik question. This has to do with my soul and my status, and it's near Rosh HaShana. Why would I be a apikores if I don't believe in gilgul and Zohar? I need an answer, being an apikores is no joke. Also, what would we say about R' Saadiah Gaon, is he an apikores as well?
