Halev Israel
Question
I am an Ashkenazi I know that milk form a non-Jew is not permitted accept under the anan sahadi circumstances described by Rav Moshe, and I know that there are those who do not accept the ruling of Rav Moshe and insist on Cholev Yisroel no matter what. Questions: When chazal created Cholev Yisroel, was it designated for milk alone, or did they include milk products like (1) butter (2) ice cream (3) chochlate bars (4) cottage cheese (5) hard cheese Is it true that someone (rav Moshe) published an ADDITIONAL leniancy saying that we are not required to take cholev yisroel if the prices are too high. If we're being guaged, in other words, we can buy cholov stamm with a clear conciounce. Any truth to that?
Answer
Answered by Chaim Yisrael Abadi1. yes to all of those products 2. I don't know if you mean Cholov Yisroel of the Gemara or nowadays. It is an understandable statement if it is relevant to nowadays, not for the Gemara's case of Cholov Yisroel. CYA
