Hand on Head?

We can use our hand in place of a kipah? I thought a kipah had to be something other than our own flesh? I was taught that someone else can place their hand on your head for use as a kipah but that you couldnt use your own. Could you please explain?

Answered by Aaron AbadiIt is not ideal, but the person who asked was talking about a not so ideal situation. I highly recommend wearing the Kipah, and being proud of your religion. Every Arab is out there dressed the way they dress, and praying right in the middle of Grand Central Station, and we should be embarassed of our religion?! It's absurd. AA
