Question
In modern times we have precise science that tells us when to start and end Shabbat. Why can't we rely on this precision with regards to celebrating Pesach 7 days outside of Israel rather than than 8 days? (I don't mind the celebrating -- I'm just curious.)

Answered by Aaron AbadiIt has become the Minhag of Chutz LaAretz (countries outside Israel) It is in Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim Hilchot Yom Tov Sorry. No room for change here AA
