horseradish timeframe

Question

Lichvode HaRav, Thank you for responding to my question about Horseradish. You said that: "You need to a eat a "Kazayit" (a measurement equal to about 1/2 of an egg) within a reasonable timeframe. It's impossible to do that with horseradish. Use the traditional lettuce. AA" I 've been eating a 1.25 oz size shot glass. I can finish it in less than a minute. Is that sufficient. What is the required timeframe? BTW I use an electric blender to grate it BEFORE Yom Tov. and pack them in plastic shot glasses with lids. Place them in Zip lock bags put it into the fridge. They keep fully pungent till 2nd seder. It can be pretty potent especially since it is home grown and but it has no bugs like lettuce does. There can be worms on the top of the root. Just check them and cut them away. Thanks again for your reply. JSW
