How about Best's?

I hope everyone is having a Freilechen Chanukah or a happy Chanukah. Since you've (Aaron) indicated that "any day now" we should be hearing about the situation as to whether Hebrew National is kosher or not, I was wondering if you or your father would be able to check on the situation with Best's Kosher (the non-glatt brands like Best's or Sinai) when you have a chance? Best's non-glatt products are under the hashgacho of a Rabbi Kaufman and Rabbi Michael Small, who is a talmid of Rav Moshe ZT"L. Best's can be e-mailed at [email hidden] (http://www.bests-kosher.com) I've heard conflicting stories concerning both Hebrew National and Best's in the Torah observant world. Quite a few say there are indeed serious kashrus problems with both companies while a couple say "They're not flat out trief. It's just that they're not glatt, that's all." Oh, I just found out according to HN's website (http://www.hebrewnational.com) that their products are now under the Triangle K's supervision instead of R' Tibor Stern. Both Rabbi Ralbag (Yosef) and his son Rabbi Aryeh Ralbag will now be dealing with Hebrew National. So I look forward to hearing about the status of both Best's and Hebrew National when you find out what's going on. But regardless of what happens, I doubt either of them will go glatt since it "would be too expensive for them and the consumer". A couple of other questions: Speaking of Triangle K, did you find out about the status of soft cheeses and spinach under their hashgacha? What's the status of additional pages of halachos being added to the Jewish Law section? You said that Sukkos, Loshon Hora, and Derech Eretz were among those that were ready or will be ready soon. I'm looking forward to seeing them as well as the revamping of the website in general. On Sarah's post on "Loshon Hora", was the response you gave the basic halachos of what truly is loshon hora?
