How missionaries succeed with Orthodox kids

Actually, in case anyone is wondering, it is NOT very hard for these people to sell frum kids on the Jesus business. First of all, many Christian organizations specifically target OBSERVANT Jews (such as the 7th Day Adventists, Chosen Peoples, Jews for Jesus, and the Southern Baptists). They believe that in order for Jesus to come "again", 144,000 Shomer Shabbat Jews must believe that he is the Messiah (and then those 144,000 will annihilate the rest of us, thus ensuring that the entire Jewish nation accepts him as Moshiach and thereby guaranteeing that he "stay" this time.) My husband and I have been following these people around for over a decade. They are not hesitant to tell you EXACTLY what they are doing, usually. They are interested in OBSERVANT Jews, because they believe that only observant Jews count toward their goals, and tragically they are very successful. They generally seek out frum neighborhoods, because they feel that it is easy to "flip" a Jew who already believes in G-d and the Torah to accept who they think is the Messiah. They are correct, because as we all know, it is very very difficult to convince a Jew who does not believe in G-d to become observant. So they get jobs in observant homes, in frum schools and in frum social service organizations. They pose as sincere converts, they come to kiruv organizations posing as Jews (or they actually are Jews) and they make friends in the community and get to work planting their foreign ideas all over the place. We have discovered several missionaries who were working as teachers and principals in Jewish schools nationwide as well as missionaries who had been and were being educated in Baalei Teshuvah Yeshivoth both in America and in Israel. We have discovered missionaries as social workers for Jewish agencies. We have one we have been following who has Semicha from a well known Rabbi, and is a director of a well supported "kiruv" organization. We have had three who succeeded in getting hired to be Rabbis in Orthodox Sephardic synagogues!!! One of the most typical methods they use is to stress the difficulty of Jewish observance, and the unforgiving nature of G-d (which is of course a false concept). They start by revealing extremely common misdeeds that most people do from time to time, and explain with great innocence that the Teshuvah that a person needs to do from such an act is nearly impossible to achieve for a normal person in a normal lifetime. They then go on to reveal that if you fail to do Teshuvah properly for your misdeeds in your lifetime, that you will NOT participate in Techiat HaMeitim. They take phrases from the Tanach to imply that after the war of Gog and MaGog that only those who are judged to be righteous will escape the horrors of permanent Gehinnom. Since it becomes apparent to one who listens to this that "all is lost", the listener then sees no harm in just having a good time (and we see kids going off to do all sorts of things because they think that there is no place for them as human beings within Judaism). Naturally, they never share these deep dark secrets with their families, and therefore if the family even finds out about what their kids are doing, they truly have no clue what the root cause of the problem has been. Of course, the missionary lays in wait, and eventually, either directly or through another person, makes the final presentation to the distressed Jew about how they can rely on a particular Tzaddik to absorb their unrecoverable sin for them, so that they can now hope to participate in the resurrection of the dead. I have personally counseled dozens of High School aged kids who were FFB kids, from sincere homes who were going down this route that begins with feeling as though they are unredeemable/unworthy as Jews, and culminates in conversion to Christianity (either knowingly, or via an organization that seems Jewish to them, like Jews for Jesus). We have discovered missionaries working in kosher pizza stores (they believe that treifing up the food will cause a "lack of faith" and a "fear of death" that will give them the opening they need to start their work in a particular community). We have found numerous housekeepers who work on little children while their parents are in Shul. In one case, the children involved were those of the Shul President! When I alerted by this one particular family to the specific missionaries who were working on his children, he said that "it didn't matter because they learn whatever they need to know in school". !!! We know a Jewish director of Hispanic Social Services who reported to us that the very middle class wives of church ministers and other religious leaders are trained in their churches to get jobs as housekeepers in Jewish homes in order to influence the children to "believe". We have seen people who look like Rabbis sit outside of the Shul on Shabbat morning, and make a little "parsha" group, except that what they are teaching is not Judaism at all, but psychological terror, and plants within them the seeds of fear that their infinite life will be spent in Gehinnom. As an example of how deeply these people infiltrate our society, we even found a missionary who passed herself off as an observant Jew, and was doing Taharas for the local Chevra Chadisha, and was secretly posthumously baptizing the deceased women for MONTHS before being discovered! Obviously, we don’t believe in converting dead people, but the point is that these folks really come in under the radar. They are organized, funded, trained, and faithful. This is nothing new, however. It was happening thirty years ago, one hundred and thirty years ago (there was a Ladino Tanach that was in use in some schools in Istanbul for years that wasn't exactly translated according to Judaism), and five hundred and thirty years ago (in the diary of Dona Gracia Mendes there is a letter from her father cautioning her not to leave her precious children in the care of Gentile servants for fear that they will convert them). I sincerely believe that this website, which is spreading the TRUTH of Torah and our faith, is doing more to stop this tragic destruction of our very precious children than anything else right now. I realize this may be too long a note to post, so if you don't post it, that's OK. I at least wanted to share this information with you.
