Thank you for finally coming clean (Tahor) and informing us the true reasons that Corn on the Cob is assur. People forget that the world is filled with invisible boogey men who make it their life work to throw bits of Treif (usually something derived from pig or dolphin or some bug) into every food product out there - even supposedly 'pure' foods such as fruits and vegetables. We must be vigilant! Next thing you know people will start undoing our accomplishments in creating a stringent, superfluous level of observance and say that just doing Mitzvoth is enough!
