ingredients and internet

Question

I noticed discussion re looking up ingredients on the internet. Ingredients which are not obvious would be chemicals-right. These would involve many sfeykos(if treif or not,raui l'achila, shishim etc etc). Could you give an example of an ingredient that would need to be looked up?
