Israel

Question

Dear Rabbi, When you say that we should not mourn over mumrim and should not celebrate a secular medinah, do you mean to say that we should not mourn and get upset when terrorist attacks in Israel kill Jewish people, even though they are not religious? I understand that religious Jews are also murdered by suicide bombers, but should we not be upset when a suicide bomber blows up a disco on friday night, or the like? From what the Shulchan aruch says about celebrating when a mumar dies instead of sitting shivah, it would seem that we should, at the least, not mourn over the death of secualr israelis, if not rejoice. Please explain. Thanks for the response

You are asking me to explain the Shulchan Aruch? Work on it. It's all from the Gemaras and Rishonim. Read it well and you will understand clearly what it says.... AA
