Kahlua

Question

This past summer, I sent you an email regarding the kashrut status of Kahlua. You replied with 3 words: "Kahlua is fine!" Also, a book published in 2001 entitled Travel in Halacha (Rabbi Cohen-Soae) lists Kahlua as acceptable/recommended. However, I recently saw on your Q&A postings that Kahlua is not kosher because of the ingredients. Did I misunderstand when you said it "is fine"?
