Kashering during chol hamoed

Question

Can you kasher an oven during chol hamoed Pesach? (I live with two roommates and we split up the kashering responsibilities; someone forgot to kasher the oven and we need it for Shabbos.)

An oven can be koshered, because you're burning out any food particles. CYA
