kashering glazed porcelain etc

I am impressed that you say the commonsenscial, "glazed " is not boleia/does not absorb. even over heres/earthenware. But why dont you worry about a crack in the dish etc which does open up the earthenware to the surface, or is there a special halachah about cracked pordelain. thank you hag sameiach
