Question
I found it interesting, that aside from whether a hechsher is truly needed or not, that there are many companies that use several hecsherim in their product lines, such as Tostitos Chips. Noiw either that could mean its all about business, but if so than why not stick with the cheapest hechsher. Or perhaps there are certain standards from each agency that wont hold for each product. Also, ethically, why would a kashrus organization allow itself to work for some products, if the company uses (lesser) other standards for others. Just an interesting observation. Answered by Chaim Yisrael AbadiI think that many companies are under the impression that people have a tendency to eat from some Hechsherim and not eat from others. Therefore it is a numbers game to try to make sure you reached the largest market possible. Your welcome and have a gr8 Shabbos CYA
