Question

Two questions: 1. Is it necessary to buy new boxes of things like salt, sugar, lemon juice, if they were opened and used before Pesach? 2. If a box of donuts has a K on it can it be considered ok to eat. I've been told that R. Abadi says its ok if the ingredients don't have anything unkosher.
