kavod hatorah
Question
In the last few days there has been a tremendous lack of kavod hatorah. How could one get mad at Rabbi Abadi, he quoted a SHULCHAN ARUCH?! It seems like Stanley isn't much of a baal teshuva if he can ask what kind of judiasm is the shulchan aruch teaching. As for the agrument that Rabbi Abadi is the one that said they're not considered a tinok shenishba, first of all, Rav Yitzchock Abadi has spent decades in torah while most of the people are basing their "opinions" on maximum 4 years of high school and a few years in beis medrash. Do you think you have more torah knowledge than Rav Abadi? The opinions posted here are daas torah while yours comes from what you want it to be. Second of all, if Rabbi Abadi would write what he wrote, about someone who went off the derech, then you still would have a problem, and I don't think, by any stretch of the imagination, you can say that they're also considered a tinok shenishba, so don't blame this on Rav Abadi, the shulchan aruch wrote it. If you have a problem with the shulchan aruch then your emunas chachamim is lacking and so is your understanding of mesorah.
