Question

What about the view that a hot solid is always considered a keli rishon? wouldn't this create a problem with using the caterers plates for your kosher meal as well as create the need to kasher silverware?

The Rov Tashmisho is still Keli Sheni. Your hot solid would need to be Yad Soledet Boh. AA
