kipah
Question
The average Syrian Jew is known not to wear kipah except for prayer & learning or doing something in kedusha. Would that fact make me "embarassed of our religion" ? as stated below... thanks sd

Answered by Aaron AbadiIt is not ideal, but the person who asked was talking about a not so ideal situation. I highly recommend wearing the Kipah, and being proud of your religion. Every Arab is out there dressed the way they dress, and praying right in the middle of Grand Central Station, and we should be embarassed of our religion?! It's absurd. AA
