kippa clips #2

Question

Why are kippa clips any different than a belt? What are we afraid he will do, take them off? Or are they muktza all together?

Answer

The problem with them is, they are mutar as long as they are in use. That means they must be attached to the hair and Kipah. What happens most of the time is, it gets loose and does not get reattached. That is carrying. A belt is closed and in constant use. CYA
