is wearing a kippah all the time a requirement halachikally?(im not asking about prayers or eating or learning just stam)

My father wrote in the sefer Or Yitzhak siman 2 that "nowadays noone argues that you are required to wear a head covering all day" Why not - do people honestly believe that Hashem can't send them parnassa if they wear their Kippa? This question is not directed at you, just food for thought CYA
