Kirkland signature pure vanilla extract

Wanted to share what I just learned. The ingredients are: vanillla bean extractives in water, alcohol 35%. I just spoke to a rep who told me the alcohol is a derivative of ethynol- corn. That means ok for pesach. Correct?
