Question

I enjoy learning practical halacha.Its very necessary.What sefarim do you recommend as a start? Chayei adam,ect. I learn the Mishanah berurah, not for pesak halacha,just for imformation.By doing so,im able to learn the shulchan aruch and the ramah at the same time. Any suggestions on sefarim,methodology,ect.Perhapes this will help others as well.I find the study fascinating.Should one also study the rambam?Help
