leshem yichud
Question
Is one required to say leshem yichud before many of the mitzvot we do. I have heard that there are problems with saying it due to it reffering to God as not one entity.(leshem yichud means in the name of unifying God, meaning God is not unified). Is this true?is it advisable not to say it at all?
Answer
Answered by Aaron AbadiDon't say it. (The Nodeh Beyehuda has a very interesting Teshuva on this.) AA
