lip gloss

Question

Dear AA, I recently attended a Shabbaton where i met a girl who was applying pink lipgloss to her lips. When i asked why she was allowed to do this on shabbat she replied her father who's a rabbi(i didn't ask her if he has a beard) says its' ok. According to you would this be permissible to apply on shabbat? thanx for your time and for helping us all.
