listerine strips

Question

a)may one "eat" a listerine strip after musaf prior to kidush. (I am asking because this came up in shul the other day) b) how about on a fast day? c)is it appropriate to say "have an easy fast" or is the fast not supposed to be easy? thanks, Henry
