Hi Rabbi, Can I go to a concert to hear kive music during the first 33 days of the omer. The music will be apropriate and there will not be an issue of kol isha. Please explain the answer to me (yes/no) I want to understand this better. Thank you for this site. I visit every day!! Respectfully, jomiz

The Issur (Prohibition) of music is year-round. There are many exceptions. We explained them before. Making parties with music for Bar Mitzvah or something should be done on or after "Lag BaOmer." AA
