Magnetic Induction Stovetop
Question
I am going to be spending some time on a boat whose stovetop works on magnetic induction technology. From what I understand, the "burners" don't actually get hot at all. There are magnetic waves that heat up the pan and the "burners" remain cool and just focus the magnetic waves. I am not sure what the surfaces are made out of I just know that when you remove the pan they are cool enough to touch. The question is whether they need Koshering and, if so, how to do it. Thanks, Moshe

Answered by Aaron AbadiNo need to Kosher any stove top. Just clean it. Even if there were such a need, it koshers itself as you use it. AA
