In Yeshivas they like to ignore this topic, hoping it'll just go away. Yet the number of children created, seems to contradict this statement. We unfortunately do not get an open outright discussion and direction in these areas, causing the multitudes to be messed up in these areas. We should be taught the Mitzvah properly, and treat it as that, a Mitzvah. If there was a place for LeShem Yichud, this would certainly be a nominee. My father got a lot of flack for teaching the basics to Chatanim. The beginning and the end of that Ram"a is 100%. That Yesh Mekilim is acceptable if it was an oops, not if deliberately done. It is highly probable that he meant that too, by saying Be'Akrah'iy. Every person should assess their level of Kedushah and act accordingly. Inappropriate Chumrot or Kulot are destructive. Insufficient satisfaction can cause one to sin. Too much of it can bring you down. Every couple must attempt to achieve that proper middle-of-the-road that fits their level. This can either be the biggest Mitzvah or the biggest sin. It’s in our hands to control it. It is also clearly the toughest issue presented to us. For any more specific discussions or assistance, feel free to email me privately. I do plan to put the full Halachot in an audio format on this site ASAP. AA
