cant you just waash your ahnds why do you need a kli? and dont the reasons for mayim achronim nto apply today?

You have a Shulchan Aruch. Look it up. They discuss it very clearly. Obviously you got the concepts from there, why didn't you read the whole thing. It's all there, and it says that we still need to do it. AA
