McDonalds fries

Just to clarify...McDonald's never claimed their fries were vegetarian. They merely neglected to disclose that they were flavored with beef flavoring (NOT soaked in meat sauce) despite being fried in vegetable oil, not beef tallow as they had done years earlier. They were under no obligation to produce "pareve" fries. It's just that when they advertised the fact that they no longer used beef tallow for frying (for health reasons), some people assumed that meant they were vegetarian. Aryeh
