Microwave Kashering

Question

Rabbi Abad, two questions: -In the halacha section, you wrote that "Microwave Ovens can be koshered by putting a bowl of water on the highest setting for twenty minutes." Does this apply to any kind of microwave no matter how much treif went into it? -Another question. I would like to know what is your opinion regarding a convert that has a secular name that sounds christian and then adopts a hebrew name. Is he required by Jewish law to begin using his hebrew name in front of the goim although his former name appears in his official documents? Thankyou
