Mikvah issue

Question

Dear Rabbi, My wife was told recently at the mikvah that she is not permitted to take a shower after coming out of a Mikva and before having relations. Personally (although this is no proof) this is new to us. I asked another person and he said that this depends if one is Sephardic or Ashkenazi. He claims the Ramah forbids this …. Are we as a Sephardic couple permitted to have the wife take a shower after coming out of a Mikva? If no, being an "istinis" in this case, can there be any kind of kulah here?? If indeed showering after mikva is forbidden, it might be a bit complicated for many women who go to the Mikva.
