Question

What is really prohibited during the days of sefira? Is there any difference between sephardim and ashkenazim? Is it true that Sephardim wait till the 34th day of the Omer to discontinue the minhagim, as opposed to Lag Baomer?

Parties. Men shaving (unless needed for work). No. Sephardim go till 33, like everyone else. AA
