Mixed Seating

Question

I'm wondering if maybe the reason behind the issur for mixed seating is to prevent the mixed dancing and the comingling between singles, which is 100% ossur???

It all boils down to that. To Pritzut. It doesn't help seperate seating if the men are telling each other off-color jokes in the men's section..... Let us all drop this issue and deal with the basic facts of Tzniut, modesty, and the maintaining of a little space between men and women who are not Husband and wife to avoid all those stories we all know too well.
