I'm sorry! I emailed you before I realized you could post on the forum! Here's the question from my husband. You can disregard the email I sent you! Is it permissable to purchase and own stock in McDonald's, Kraft Foods, or any other company that produces foods consisting of forbidden meat and milk mixtures? I've always understood that I'm not allowed to derive benefit from meat and milk, but don't know how far this goes. If it is a problem to own shares in these companies, do we need to be so careful as to check our mutual funds for ownership of these companies?
