My grandmother's china

Question

Dear Rabbi, My grandmother gave me her porcelain china. It has not been used in about 15 years. She is not observant and does not keep a kosher home. (although she does not eat shellfish or pork products) Can I use these china dishes? Or is there some way that I can make them kosher? Thank you, Devorah

Any item that is not used as a kli rishon (to be used on the fire) is no problem to use. CYA
