nails and brachot

Kavod HaRav, I don't mean to be impatient or disrespectful, but I sent in two posts a while ago, and i haven't got an answer...if the rav is still inquiring, please ignore this post and I apologize for the lack of patience. However, I thought maybe the posts were not received for some reason, so I'm repeating my questions just in case: 1. may one cut both their toe nails and finger nails in the same day (i heard no, because that's what is done to a dead person, but I don't see why that would stop us from this action...)? 2. may one cut their nails at night (I heard no, but I don't know why...)? 3. is there such a thing that on a certain day of the week (i think wednesday or thursday) one may not cut his/her nails (because it will take the amount of days from that day till Shabbat to grow, and we don't want to come close to cutting our nails on Shabbat...seems a little far-fetched to me- there's a set time that that it takes for everyone's nails to grow?!?!) 4. when one makes a beracha before eating a food, is he/she supposed to have in mind for that beracha to apply to any other food they may eat that comes under that beracha? i've been saying berachot all my life, but i was never sure as to what to have in mind, etc!! 5. I know the time limit for a meal/hamotzei is 72 minutes, but is there a time limit to say other berachot acharonot? Thank you, and I really apologize if the Rav already received my questions!

Answered by Aaron Abadi1) Stop listening to Rumors. 2) same 3) It's OK 4) You have in mind what you will be eating in the next few minutes, or during this meal. It's automatic & you don't need special Kavanot (thoughts). 5) No 72 minute limit to a meal. The 72 minutes is only that if after you eat Hamotzie, but you only ate a little and you are not full, then you should bench within 72 minutes after your meal. If you are full, then you can bench until you are hungry again, which is much longer than 72 minutes. AA
